{"id":6027,"date":"2012-11-27T12:07:47","date_gmt":"2012-11-27T11:07:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.cronicaelectronica.org\/?p=6027"},"modified":"2017-01-05T19:28:55","modified_gmt":"2017-01-05T18:28:55","slug":"eins-bis-sechzehn-reviewed-by-whisperinandhollerin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blog.cronicaelectronica.org\/?p=6027","title":{"rendered":"\u00e2\u20ac\u0153eins bis sechzehn\u00e2\u20ac\u009d reviewed by Whisperinandhollerin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.cronicaelectronica.org\/img\/cat\/069-2012-b.jpg\" alt=\"eins bis sechzehn\" \/><br \/>\nIn a world where visuals are everywhere, photography has been devalued by Facebook and Instagram and music has been devalued by the iPod generation, free streaming and greedy major labels favouring quick cash over artistic integrity, releases like this really do stand out. <\/p>\n<p>While marvelling at the exquisite presentation of the 6\u00e2\u20ac\u009d square slipcase, almost half a centimetre deep, with its cutout front (which facilitates changing the cover according to the ordering of the box\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s contents) and minimalist text, and the stunning images of the interior of a derelict hotel, I did, much to my shame, find myself contemplating the question, \u00e2\u20ac\u02dchow the fuck am I going to store this?\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 <\/p>\n<p>With the Ephraim Wegner\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s soundtrack to Julia Weinman\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s crisp, stark images of deterioration filtering into my ears, I stopped thinking almost completely. It begins as a low rumble, like the wind when heard from a mountain top, or a train approaching from a distance.
