Both live in Amsterdam and have worked together before on records. Some of those have been released by the Staalplaat label. Björgúlfsson works on installations as well, such as i have seen myself at ‘Disco Musical Stories’ (with Helgi Thorsson) in Buro Leeuwarden of the Frisian Museum in Leeuwarden. Both gentlemen have made a record with King Glitch tha can be described with one word: eclectic. The very intricate electronic gltch and cut ’n clicks music with pop-like qualities. Sounds from the surrounding and pianosounds are edited, manipulated and presented again like Bryon Gysin and William Burroughs taught the world to do. On King Glitch organic and digital sounds play a fascinating game due to which exciting and musically very rich yet compact tracks are created. The music is very imaginative and is constantly changing mood and content; the one moment you’ll find yourself in Las Vegas, while the nest moment you’ll nip of a glass of wine near an open fire in a 19th century grand cafe. This is a release for the adventurous music lover

TekNoir

Heimir Björgúlfsson and Jonas Ohlsson are two musicians with a long record of duty in the world of avantgarde music.
