Difficile de dire donc si cette impression est due \u00c3\u00a0 la mati\u00c3\u00a8re originelle, \u00c3\u00a0 savoir ces deux concerts du trio australo-islandais, ou bien au montage de Robert Hampson. Chaque morceau utilise d&#8217;\u00c3\u00a9tranges sonorit\u00c3\u00a9s, m\u00c3\u00a9lange des produits \u00c3\u00a9lectroniques (gr\u00c3\u00a9sillements, craquements, souffles, fr\u00c3\u00a9tillements) et ce qui semble \u00c3\u00aatre des sons concrets retravaill\u00c3\u00a9s pour mieux s&#8217;int\u00c3\u00a9grer aux sonorit\u00c3\u00a9s \u00c3\u00a9lectroniques. Ceux-ci restent g\u00c3\u00a9n\u00c3\u00a9ralement au second plan, servent \u00c3\u00a0 cr\u00c3\u00a9er une ambiance souvent sombre et inqui\u00c3\u00a9tante, \u00c3\u00a9voquant une for\u00c3\u00aat hostile sur la piste 5 ou une pluie battante un peu plus loin.<\/p>\n<p>Si le trio s&#8217;amuse \u00c3\u00a0 m\u00c3\u00a9langer toute sorte de sources sonores, les trois artistes font \u00c3\u00a9galement s&#8217;entrechoquer toute sorte de styles de composition. En effet, si la construction finale reste tr\u00c3\u00a8s abstraite, on retrouve ici ou l\u00c3\u00a0 quelques \u00c3\u00a9l\u00c3\u00a9ments sur lesquels l&#8217;auditeur peut se raccrocher : une sorte de m\u00c3\u00a9lodie minimale et r\u00c3\u00a9p\u00c3\u00a9titive sortie d&#8217;une vieille machine et cherchant \u00c3\u00a0 imiter une voix et quelques jolies mont\u00c3\u00a9es de nappes sur la piste 6, une esp\u00c3\u00a8ce de fanfare num\u00c3\u00a9rique h\u00c3\u00a9sitante en fin de piste 4, mais aussi des rythmiques inattendues et parfois m\u00c3\u00aame sautillantes sur la piste 7, ou simplement efficaces sur le morceau suivant.
