This it is the third CD of the “Product” series of this label from Porto, Portugal. This time Portuguese Andr\u00c3\u00a9 Goncalves, aka Ok. Suitcase, and the Chilean Jorge Cort\u00c3\u00a9s with his project C\u00c3\u00a1ncer are the new artists incorporated to Cr\u00c3\u00b3nica’s roster.<\/p>\n
In 1999 Goncalves started manipulating sounds and improvising and two years later he starts his project “Ok. Suitcase” that takes him to concentrate in the field of Max\/msp programming and the sound art. On the other hand, Cort\u00c3\u00a9s it is one of the founder members of the Chilean independent imprint Ojo de Apolo (ojodeapolo) in which he develops his project C\u00c3\u00a1ncer from 1997 to 2002 releasing four albums and an EP of remixes. From 2002 onwards he works under the Receptor moniker in the field of click house and minimal (checkout sinergy-networks).<\/p>\n
With “04” Ok. Suitcase bets by the decomposition of sounds in order to reconvert them in unrecognizable fragments. Glitch, loops, field recordings and processed voices conform the sonorous frame of this Portuguese musician. On the other hand, in “Incoherence Textures”, C\u00c3\u00a1ncer works with melodies in a more evident form, loops, granular sounds and microrhythms.<\/p>\n
